This is a song I wrote about a girl I went to primary school with who was badly bullied. She was my best friend. Now I'm an adult I see my friends' children being bullied. They drop out of school and feel terrible about themselves.
In this case it was a teacher as well as the children who targeted her.
She was the best of us.
